SIWAK OR MISWAK
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Siwak is cleansing the mouth and cause Rabb Allah's approval." (Narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Majah)
Narrated Hudzaifah ra., He said, "Prophet always brushed his teeth with miswak every waking from sleep at night." (Narrated by Bukhari)
Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam bersiwak in fasting and not, at the time of ablution, prayer or when it will enter the house. He bersiwak with wood (branches) Araak. When sleeping, Siwak was placed near his head, and when he woke up from bersiwak.
In the book Thubbun Ath-Nabawi (Prophet's Medical) compiled by Ibn Qoyyim described siwak benefits include:

Recent study showed that Siwak Siwak wood contains natural minerals that can kill bacteria, eliminate plaque, prevent cavities and maintain gum.
Siwak has useful chemical content, such as:
* Antibacterial acids such as astringents, abrasives and detergents are used to kill bacteria, prevent infection and stop the bleeding of the gums.
