Friday virtue

Praise be to Allah, prayers and peace may remain tercurahkan the king of Allah, and I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship in truth except Allah Almighty and no partner unto Him, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His messenger. . Amma ba'du:

Verily Allah has specialized tribe of Prophet Muhammad and privileging those from other peoples with different privileges. Among them is the God choose for them the great day is Friday.


A. Virtue On Friday

Narrated by Muslim in the book of Abu Hurairah shahihnya and Hudzaifah-radhiallahu 'anhuma-said, "God had kept the day Friday for generations before us, the Jews had Saturday, the Christians can rest day, then God bring this people, and he showed us today is Friday, then He made the order is a Friday, Saturday Munday, so they will follow us on the day, we are the last people in the world, but the first on the Day of Resurrection, who will decide his case before the other creatures. "(Narrated by Muslim, 856)

In another hadith, the Prophet said, "The best day is the sunrise on Friday, the day Adam was created, in the day also put in heaven and on that day he was expelled from heaven." (Narrated by Muslim, 854)

Among these is the primacy of the day God made this day as festive for Muslims. From Ibn Abbas that the Prophet Muhammad said, "Today is the feast day, God makes it special for the Muslims, then whoever will come Friday prayers then let him bathe." (Ibn Majah no: 1098)

The scholars differed on the timing of the most powerful and opinion are two opinions:

1. He came after asr, and opinions are the most powerful of the two opinions, as narrated by Al-Nasa'i from Jabir d that the Prophet Muhammad said, "The day of Friday was twelve hours, it is not a Muslim servant begged God is something on that day unless he would allow his servant's request, he should at the end of time ashar "(Narrated by An-Nasa'i: no: 1389).

This is the opinion held by the majority of the Salaf, and has been supported by various hadith. As for the hadeeth narrated by Abu Musa previously so hadith has many defects, and has been mentioned by Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar in the book Fathul Bari. (Fathul Bari: 2/421-422)

Among the priorities was that the day was the abolition of sins. From Abu Hurairah that the Prophet Muhammad said, "Prayer five times a day, the rest of Friday to Friday of Ramadan to Ramadan and the other is a sin between them for the sins shunned". (Muslim no. 233)

B. Adab-adab On Friday

Among adab-adab Friday that needs to be maintained by those who believe are:

1. Disunnahkan for the priest to read the letter الم تنزيل As-Sajdah and surah Al-Insan during dawn prayers on Friday. Narrated by Muslim in the book of hadeeth shahihnya history of Ibn Abbas that the Prophet Muhammad read prayers at dawn on Friday, (الم تنزيل) As-Sajda and Al-Insan (Narrated by Muslim no. 879)

5. Read surah Al-Kahf. Narrated by al-Hakim from the hadeeth of Abu Said al-Khudri that the Prophet Muhammad said, "Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday the light will shine illuminate between the two Friday". (Al-Hakim: 3/81)

6. Disunnahkan hasten towards Friday prayers.

Narrated by Imam Ahmad in Musnadnya from Aus Ats-Tsaqofi of Abdullah ibn Amr said: "I have heard the Messenger of Allah said:" Whoever bath and shower, and hurried to the mosque, close to the position of high priest, listen and pay attention to the sermon for him with every dilangkahkannya steps will be rewarded a year including fasting. "(Imam Ahmad in the book Musnadnya: 2/209)

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever shower on Friday the same as ghusl then Haste (first came to the mosque) went to the mosque with him as if he had sacrificed a camel fat. And those who go on the second period as he sacrificed a cow. And those who go to the mosque at the time that the three then he seemed to have sacrificed a goat with horns. And those who go to the mosque at the time of the 4th so he seemed have sacrificed with a chicken. And those who go to the mosque at the time of the 5th then he seemed to have sacrificed with an egg., and when the priest came, then the angels come to listen to dhikr (sermon). "(Narrated by Bukhari no. 881)
